Raashii Khanna shares struggle with travel anxiety after Air India incident in emotional airport post: “It feels like holding your breath”
Actor Raashii Khanna shared that she has been struggling with travel anxiety after the Air India incident involving the London-bound flight AI171 in Ahmedabad, which has raised concerns about air travel safety. She admitted that recent news reports have intensified her fears, causing her to feel increasingly uneasy while flying.
On Sunday, Raashii posted a series of photos from the airport on Instagram as she got ready to board a flight. She opened up about her ongoing struggle with travel anxiety.
Raashii wrote, “There’s so much unrest in the world… Every flight feels heavier now, not just because of the skies, but because of the headlines we carry with us.”

She added, “Travel used to be escape. Lately, it feels like holding your breath. Anyone else feeling this travel anxiety too?”
Right after Raashii posted the pictures on Instagram, her social media followers began flooding the comments section with their reactions.

On June 12, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner carrying 242 passengers and crew from Ahmedabad to London crashed into a medical college hostel in Meghaninagar shortly after takeoff. The tragedy resulted in 241 deaths, including 169 Indians, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian. Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, seated in 11A, was the sole survivor with minor injuries. Of the 242 people onboard, only one survived, while the overall death toll reached 260, including those who died on the ground.
