Kareena Kapoor Khan teases The Buckingham Murders with forest photos ahead of September 13 release

Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer The Buckingham Murders is scheduled for publication on September 13. The actress has been releasing a lot of photographs leading up to the release to get fans excited. On Saturday, she also uploaded a new batch of images, and fans reacted. The Buckingham Murders, a mystery thriller was directed by Hansal Mehta.

Kareena took to Instagram to share photographs of herself wearing a long puffy jacket and posing in the middle of the forest. The caption read, “The deeper you go, the darker it gets. #6DaysToGo #TheBuckinghamMurders in cinemas on 13th September.” Fans reacted almost immediately after she shared the photographs. Many people wrote, “Can't wait.” One of the fans wrote, “Beboo is a baby!” “Can't wait to solve the mystery!” Another said, “Can't wait for this absolutely mind-blowing movie.”

Recently, the trailer for the upcoming film was unveiled, showcasing Kareena Kapoor in the role of a determined investigator. The video begins with her delving into a mysterious child murder case, and she displays a tough demeanor as she digs deeper into the investigation. Kareena's performance is set to be impressive. The film also features Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

Before the trailer's release, Kareena shared several photos from the film. During a discussion on Netflix’s The Actors’ Roundtable 2023, she revealed details about her role in "The Buckingham Murders." She explained that her character is a grieving mother whose child is tragically shot in the film’s opening scene. This loss drives her to become a detective. After leaving her hometown, she moves to a new place, where she faces the intricate challenges of her new case.

Kareena Kapoor said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan.” While the actress admitted that playing the role was difficult since the character’s grief made her uncomfortable it also gave her a lot of joy to play it. She added, “It’s a career-defining role for me and one of my best characters.” Kareena stated that she asked the director make it a four-part series since she did not want to let go of the role.
