Actor Imran Khan, nephew of Aamir Khan, who made his debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na catapulted to newer heights with his rom-com era. However, he couldn’t sustain himself in the industry and eventually work wasn’t coming his way. The actor, in recent times, has been making public appearances which has led to speculations that he might make a comeback. Featured on the cover of Vogue India for February 2024, Imran reveals whether he would consider a comeback in the films with the sequel of his debut movie, which also starred Genelia D'souza.

Speaking to the magazine, Imran Khan said, “Jaane Tu was the story of so many people. But for my part, it was the journey of Jai from boyhood to manhood. It is the story of two young people growing up, understanding what they seek in a partner and finding their way to love. It culminates so nicely that I don’t know what additional emotional growth you could have for these characters.”

Sharing an anecdote from the film, he added, “There’s this scene in the beginning where all of us gather for Aditi’s cat’s funeral and when I crouch to give my eulogy, my knee makes this cracking sound. They didn’t edit it out and if you turn up the volume, you can hear it. It’s gotten worse with age. Do yoga, kids.”

Imran Khan appeared in several movies like I Hate Luv Storys opposite Sonam Kapoor, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan opposite Katrina Kaif, Break Ke Baad opposite Deepika Padukone, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola opposite Anushka Sharma, and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara, opposite Sonakshi Sinha.
